it seems that with thanksgiving/holidays upon us, the steady flow of jamberonies have been slowing down. while this is a annual trend, it made me thing the the whole indietronica genre might be going the way of dinosaur. desperate for answers i spent the last few days trying to fight against the darkness. and there has been success.
two artists have come to my attention.
let’s start with the obvious first: Villains
I say obvious cause everyone and thier mother have been on these guys for the last week. Daniel from LA Riots was the first to bring them to my attention and they are pretty killer. You can hypem all thier remixes, but i highly recomend plugging in some headphones and listening to thier around the world remix. i have heard so many reworkings of this and been YAWN about this. this is fresh and will be killing dance floors asap.
My second find this week is Narctrax. They have two bangers floating around, one of them being a teenagers remix of starlett johansson. the other is a track called journet. catch em below. They are from Japan and Crystal Castles are going to be throwing down with them in December
